The Velocity 7600 goal pad is an enhanced design that is an evolution in development of our Velocity series of goal pads. The pad is constructed using a special light weight internal High Density foam core that provides a precise shape and stronger internal structure that has a more ridged perimeter edge strength for a firmer blocking surface. Wider inside pad edge makes the pad more stable while on the ice. This provides added stability for more dynamic slides across the ice giving improved balance and control. Tall thigh rise with plus one sizing helps seal off the five-hole area and the lower pad break angle holds the pad taller for improved net coverage in all positions. Narrower outer side panel shape provides lighter weight and improved lateral pad balance for improved feel and improves the pad interaction with the pants when transitioning to the ice. Wide leg and knee cradle structure is lined with a specially designed low friction Micro fiber synthetic leather. This speeds pad rotation for faster movement and a quicker pad seal to the ice. The inner toe design allows the skate blade to contact the ice sooner for quicker foot movement and faster recovery. The wider knee cradle also features a double elastic strap with dual Velcro adjustments for a custom fit, the higher density inside knee protection provides greater stability and protection. The knee lifter design and construction uses high density foams layered to maximize impact resistance for less shock to the inner knee area when impacting the ice.
